Musashi Mitake Shrine
It is said to have been built during the time of Emperor Sujin. Since the enshrining of Zao Gongen, it has become the center of Zao worship. In the middle of the Edo period, the Ontake worship spread to the common people, and “Oinu-sama (Oguchi Shinjin)” was worshiped as a god of theft and amulets. Its appearance is also on guardian dogs and bills.
