Akakabocha “Red Pumpkin”
“Red Pumpkin” is the work of world-famous artist Yayoi Kusama. The style with polka dots is a feature of Yayoi Kusama. It can also look more like a ladybug than a pumpkin.
Another work, “Yellow Pumpkin,” is also a fascinating work with an overwhelming presence here in Naoshima. To see both works, you have to travel around the island by bus, so it is recommended to stop by on the way to other art spots.
