Nikka Whiskey Yoichi Distillery
Masataka Taketsuru, who is known as the “father of Japanese whiskey,” founded this distillery as an ideal place for making whiskey in Japan.
With the quaint stone main gate, this distillery is as large as about 150,000 square meters.
At the museum, you can learn the history and types of whiskey, various tools, and the origin of Nikka. The distillery tour is very popular, too.
