Fugaku Fuketsu

The cave “Tomitake Kazeana”, which was born from lava in Aokigahara Jukai, is a horizontal hole with a total length of 201m and a height of 8.7m. You can see ice columns, lava shelves, and rope-shaped lava.

The inside is cool and the average temperature is 3 degrees. It is literally a natural refrigerator and was used to store silkworm eggs until the early Showa era.

The tour course takes about 15 minutes. The cave itself is made of black lava, so it is pitch black when you enter.

In addition, the genbu rock of the wall absorbs sounds, so it does not reverberate and you can experience a slightly mysterious feeling.
