Shitenoji Temple

The “Shitenouji” was built by Prince Seitoku in the first year of Emperor Suiko (593).

According to the Nihon Shoki, it is said that the statue of the Four Tennos was carved in prayer for victory during the battle between Moriya Monobe.

On April 22 every year in memory of the day of the death of Prince Seitoku, you can observe Tennoji Bugaku for free at the “Seireikai Dance Daihosho” held

In addition, a temple festive is held on the 21st and 22nd of every month, and the stalls, including antiques, are lined up and attract not only locals but tourists.
