Expo Memorial Park
“Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo)” was held at Expo Memorial Park in 1970 and its site has been turned into a park with so many appeals.
First, this park is full of flowers such as roses, tulips, sunflowers, cosmos, and plums all year round, and in the spring, about 5,500 cherry blossoms of 9 types bloom, making it one of the “100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan”.
In addition, you can peek the inside “Tower of the Sun” by artist Taro Okamoto, the memorial hall “EXPO’70 Pavilion” that reused the facilities at the time of the Expo, the Ikezumi strolling garden, and the J League “Gamba Osaka” .
