Located on the prefectural border between Kanagawa and Shizuoka prefectures, Mt.Kintoki the highest peak of Hakone Gairinzan with the altitude is about 1,212m. This is one of the best spots to view Mt. Fuji.

There are several hiking courses, and the “Kintaro Hiking Course” is the most popular with its great nature.

Not only the view from the top, but hiking along the beautiful forest belt and rivers is also why many people are attracted to this mountain.

From JR “Gotenba” station, get off at “Kintoki Shrine entrance” bound for Odakyu Hakone Express Bus Togendai, and walk for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
