Hatsushima Lighthouse

Hatsushima Lighthouse, originally built in 1959, was reopened in 2007 as a “lighthouse you can go see the inside in Japan”.

Hatsushima Lighthouse’s feature is the spiral staircase on the outside, which sticks out from other lighthouses because no other lighthouse has one.

On a clear day, you can enjoy a 360-degree dynamic view of Izu Oshima and the Izu Peninsula to the Boso Peninsula. Of course, also popular as a spot with a panoramic view of the island.
