Yokohama Museum

The Yokohama Museum has seven exhibition rooms, an art information center with a collection of over 110,000 books, and an atelier for creative activities.

They hold a wide variety of special exhibitions such as collection exhibitions by theme from about 12,000 items.

Also pay attention to the beautiful architecture of the building itself designed by the late Kenzo Tange, one of Japan’s leading architects.

[By train] About 5 minutes on foot from Minatomirai Station on the Yokohama Minatomirai Line
About 10 minutes on foot from JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway “Sakuragicho Station”

[Train/Bus] Take municipal bus 156 or 292 from Sakuragicho Station and get off at Yokohama Museum of Art.

Fee
Special Exhibitions: Varies by an exhibition.
Collection exhibition: General 500 yen, high school and university students 300 yen, junior high school students 100 yen, elementary school students and younger free
