Yoshimi Hyakuana

Yoshimi Hyakuana is a group of horizontal cave tombs built at the end of the Kofun period. Registered as a national historic site in 1923, the existing 219 holes represent Yoshimi-cho.

Each tunnel consists of two parts, a burial chamber, and a passageway, and part of it grows wild with luminous moss, a natural monument designated by Japan. You can also enjoy making magatama and haniwa at the Buried Cultural Property Center on the premises.
