Iwatsuki Doll Museum

Iwatsuki Doll Museum is Japan’s first public museum specializing in dolls opened in 2020 in Iwatsuki Ward, Saitama City, which is known as one of Japan’s leading doll production areas.

In the hall, there are many displays related to dolls, such as Hina dolls, checkered dolls, clay dolls, and ukiyo-e depicting dolls.

You can also learn the process and the techniques of making dolls through doll-making tools.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, special exhibitions are held occasionally. The admission fee is reasonable as well.

9:00-17:00 (Last entry 16:30), closed on Mondays and year-end and New Year holidays
