Hotokegaura
Hotokegaura is a natural formation carved out by the rough waves of the Tsugaru Straits, where the wind and snow are severe. Strangely shaped rocks of white-green tuff stretch for about 2 kilometers, and are named after the names of Buddhas such as Nyorai no Kubi, Gohyaku Rakan, Hitotsubutsu, Jusanbutsu Kannoniwa, and Gokurakuhama. The recommended season for sightseeing is from April to October. You will be healed by the calm beauty of the beach that comes ashore from Sai Port by regular boat.
