Jodogahama Beach

The scenic spot is lined with sharply pointed white rhyolite, and the contrast between the green pines, the white rock surface, and the blue sea is spectacular. About 300 years ago, a priest of Joan-ji Temple admired the place, saying, “It’s just like Gokuraku Jodo.” In addition to being crowded with sea bathers every summer, cruises in the bay on pleasure boats are also popular. The Sappa boat that tours the mysterious “Blue Cave” is also recommended.
