ANDO MUSEUM
Benesse Art Site “ANDO MUSEUM” is a museum filled with architectural elements of Mr. Tadao Ando, the central figure in Naoshima’s architectural works. The 100-year-old wooden house, which was reborn by Tadao Ando’s design, is a work of the building itself.
You can enjoy the world of exhibited works while enjoying the architecture and space of many of Naoshima’s works.
Above all, this museum’s concept is enjoying the space itself as art, together with works of Tadao Ando. This building and its exhibits make you feel the history of Naoshima.
