Owakudani [Sengokuhara]
Owakudani, which was created by the Hakone volcanic eruption about 3,000 years ago, still emits white smoke containing sulfur and water vapor at about 100 ° C from the desolate Sanya, making this spot look eerily.
On the way to “Owakudani” by Hakone Ropeway, you can also enjoy watching the magnificent Hakone view.
In addition, black eggs that are carefully boiled and steamed in a hot spring pond have a reputation for its delicious taste. There are many other Japanese sweets and souvenirs unique to Owakudani at the Kurotamagokan.
