Kenrokuen

Kenrokuen, a typical strolling garden of the Edo period, was formed over many years by successive lords of Kaga.

Kenrokuen is also one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan and is designated as a national special place of scenic beauty. On the site of over 100,000 square meters in which curved streams, ponds, and waterfalls are created.

In the shops around Kerokuen, you can try traditional Japanese sweets, meals, Kutani ware, etc., and you can also try the tea ceremony with original Japanese sweets at the tea room “Shigure-tei”.

7: 00-18: 00 (March 1st-October 15th) 8: 00-17: 00 (October 16th-February 1st), open daily
Shigure-tei / 9: 00-16: 30 (Last reception 16:00) * Closed from December 29th to January 3rd
