Philosophy road
Philosophy road is a walking path along the canal that runs from Wakaoji Shrine to Ginkakuji and, on this path, it is said that the Japanese representing philosopher Kitaro Nishida always indulged in thought.
Philosophy road is also popular for cherry blossoms, and in the spring, about 400 Yoshino cherry trees color the journey of about 2 km. You can enjoy this road differently in each season.
