Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine
Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine is said that Kawagoe’s general guardian deity began about 1,500 years ago when the Omiya Hikawa Shrine, Musashi Ichinomiya, was subdivided.
With Susano-no-Mikoto as the main enshrined deity, five gods are enshrined here, and it has long been worshiped as the god of marriage and marriage.
The variety of amulets for marriage is also popular, and from July 7th to September 30th, the “Enmusubi Furin” event, in which more than 2,000 colorful Edo wind chimes are hung on the grounds, is held.
