“Aokigahara Jukai” is widely known as a suicide forest but it actually has an intact nature.

The virgin forest develops on the lava flow by the eruption and a wide variety of creatures and plants inhabit this forest.

We recommend taking a tour to explore the forest for your safety since you can easily get lost here and that’s why this place is called “suicide forest”. There are signs and guides on the sidewalk, so be sure to stay on the route.

The tour departs from the information center of “Saiko Bat Cave” and the participation fee is only 500 yen.

Enjoy the atmosphere of Japan’s nature.
