Narusawa Ice Cave
“Narusawa Ice Cave” is a lava cave designated as a national natural monument in 1929.
The name comes from the fact that the inside is covered with ice all year round.
Even in the summer, the average temperature is as low as about 3 degrees Celsius, so bring clothes when you visit. The ice pillars created by water droplets that have exuded from the ceiling are a must-see. The whole cave is lit up, making its atmosphere very mysterious.
The course is about 150m and takes about 15 minutes.
