The Chirihama coast is about 8 kilometers long and is the only beach you can drive on in Japan.

Since sand particles are so small as to be tightly solidated with seawater, your car can run through this beach with normal tires.

You can enjoy an exhilarating drive as if you were in a scene from a movie.

In the summer, you can also swim and enjoy seafood such as clams at the beach teahouse.
