Shurijo Castle Park
Shurijo Castle Park is known as the symbol of Okinawa and is also registered as World Heritage Site. This castle and the remains around it pass down the history of the Ryukyu Kingdom era.
The tour area is divided into a paid area centered on the main hall and a free area where you can see the Shureimon Gate. “Shuri Castle Festival” is held in November every year so you don’t want to miss it if visiting here at that time.
Major buildings were destroyed by fire in October 2019, but from June 2020, the remains and remnants started to be excited gradually.
