Ninnaji Temple
Ninnaji, the head temple of the Omuro school of the Shingon sect, is one of the world heritage sites.
In addition to the national treasure “Kondo“, there are many temple buildings such as the Nioumon, the palace, and the five-storied pagoda where the statues of King Nio are enshrined.
In spring, “Omurozakura”, which is famous for the latest blooming cherry blossom in Kyoto, colors this temple beautifully.
