Kosanji Temple
Kosanji, a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school on Ikuguchi Island, has a symmetrical arrangement of cathedrals, which is rare in Japan, and is highly regarded as a “Kosanji style cathedral arrangement”.
The main hall and the Tahoto are designated as nationally registered tangible cultural properties, and at the museum on the premises, important cultural properties and important works of art such as the Kaikei work “Hokan Amida Nyorai Sitting Statue” are displayed.
Don’t miss the white marble garden “Miraishin no Oka”. The stairs and open space are made of marble, and this pure white scenery really looks good on SNS.
