Hiroshima leads Japan in the production of lemons. Especially, Setoda, (Ikuguchi Island and Takane Island), produces about 30% of domestic lemons. Lemon fields spread out in the town, and the contrast with the sea in Setouchi and the Shimanami Kaido is superb.

You can also enjoy gourmet foods unique to “Lemon Island” such as lemon pots and the popular lemon cake “Shimagokoro” for souvenirs.
