Lake Sayama is an artificial lake in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture that takes advantage of the geographical feature of the valley of the Sayama Hills. The surrounding area is the prefectural Sayama Nature Park, and it has been selected as one of Saitama’s “Top 100 Nature” and “Top 100 Dam Lakes”.

Many people visit throughout the year to enjoy the beautiful nature of the four seasons; cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves in fall, and bird watching.

Spend your time at the lake or taking a walk along the embankment. If the weather is clear, you can also see Mt. Fuji!
