Kumagaya Sakurazutsumi is a famous cherry blossom spot that has been descended since the Edo period.

A tunnel of nearly 500 Someiyoshino cherry blossoms stretches over two kilometers along the embankment of the Arakawa River, attracting many people in spring.

Registered for its history and beauty, these cheery blossoms have been selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots.

During the Kumagaya Cherry Blossom Festival from late March to early April, you can enjoy the mystical nighttime cherry blossoms illumination.
