Jizoda Ruins “Yayoikko Village”
The Jizoda Ruins/Yayokko Village has been designated as a national historic site. It is a composite site from the Paleolithic, Jomon, and Yayoi periods. The ruins of a settlement from the Yayoi period surrounded by wooden fences are rare even in Japan. In addition to the three pit dwellings, there are pavilions and other facilities, and events such as experiencing the Yayoi period are held from time to time.
