Sendai is said to be the birthplace of beef tongue cuisine, and there are many specialty restaurants in the city. “Beef Tongue Cuisine Kaku” is one such restaurant specializing in the beef tongue. We offer carefully selected beef tongue prepared by hand in a variety of ways, such as grilling, searing, and sashimi. The signature menu item is the “Seared Beef Tongue”, which is finished with a homemade sweet and sour sauce and plenty of green onions. The rich flavor of beef tongue fills your mouth and goes well with alcohol.

With over 30 years of history, “Beef Tongue Cuisine Kaku” offers a variety of a la carte dishes. The “Tomato Salad” is made by cutting a whole sweet tomato, and the special dressing brings out the flavor of the ingredients. The “Tail Soup”, which is made by slowly stewing beef tail, is perfect for closing. Miyagi’s local sake which goes well with beef tongue is also available.
