Old streets of Hida Takayama
The old streets of Hida Takayama are the main sightseeing spots and consist of three parts; the center of the castle town, the upper part of Takayama, and the old town of Takayama, which has developed as a merchant town.
Water flows through the eaves where the grids are lined up, and the breweries hang “Sakebayashi” which are balls made of cedar leaves.
There are plenty of stores such as long-established miso shops, souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants so you can enjoy eat-and-walk here.
