“Akanko Onsen” is located on the south shore of Lake Akan. The quality of water is very mild so if you have sensitive skin, this onsen would be perfect.

In the surrounding area, there are walking paths from which you can observe mud volcanoes called “Bokke”, observation centers that display Marimo, and footbath spots.

A free tour bus “Marimu-go” is available in the hot spring town, making it easier for you to visit each sightseeing spot in the area.
