The cafe in the Akao Herb & Rose Garden is a landscape garden on the hill of Atami’s famous “Kinigaura” overlooking Sagami Bay.

Twelve gardens decorated with roses, herbs, and seasonal flowers collected from all over the world spread out over a vast land of about 200,000 tsubo.

One of the appeals is that you can take a guided shuttle bus around the park, and in addition to flowers, you can enjoy various ways such as lunch, shopping, and a hands-on workshop.

The cafe “COEDA HOUSE” designed by Kengo Kuma, one of Japan’s leading architects, is popular, and the view from the warm wooden interior is spectacular.
