2. Longest Shopping StreetーTogoshi-Ginza Shopping Street

Togoshi-Ginza shopping street is the longest shopping street in Tokyo, which stretches for about 1.3km. There are many shops that locals go to, and you can see their lives.

In the Taisho era, it was named “Togoshi Ginza” because of the reuse of bricks in Ginza on the streets of the shopping district. This street has been part of locals life since then.

Toridai is a butcher shop that features fresh morning chicken. Chicken balls that are said to sell 10,000 pieces a day are only 10 yen for each, and yakitori grilled with Bincho charcoal are also popular.
