The main event of the Ajima Manyo Festival is the “Manyo Procession,” in which a total of 400 people (mainly Manyo poets) participate. There are plenty of events such as the Nodate “Manyo Daichakai”, which is performed wearing the costumes of the Manyo period, and the famous Manyo hot pot.
