Kinkakuji Temple
The golden “Kinkakuji” is one of the must-see spots in Kyoto.
The official name is Rokuonji, and it is named after Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, the third shogun of the Muromachi Shogunate.
You can enjoy its gorgeous appearance with the pond nearby throughout the four seasons, especially the fantastic atmosphere in winter when it snows is indescribably beautiful.
