Kanazawa Castle Park

Kanazawa Castle was the residence of the Maeda clan of the Kaga domain. Its ruins remain in Kanazawa Castle Park.

In the park, there are various historical edifices such as historical buildings designated as national important cultural properties such as Ishikawa Gate, Sanjikken Nagaya, and Tsurumaru Warehouse, as well as the newly restored Hishi Yagura, Gojikken Nagaya, and Hashizume Gate.

Normal opening / 7: 00-18: 00 (March 1st-October 15th), 8: 00-17: 00 (October 16th-February), open daily
Open early in the morning / 4: 00-6: 45 (April-August), 5:00-6: 45 (March, September 1-October 15), 5:00-7:45 (October 16) Sunday-October 31), 6:00-7:45 (November 1-February 1)
Open at night / Sunset ~ 21:00 (Friday, Saturday, the day before public holidays)

Free admission (Hishi Yagura, Gojikken Nagaya, Hashizumemon Tsurugi turret is 310 yen for adults and 100 yen for children)
