“Nakanoshima” sits on a sandbank between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers and the government offices, museums, and restaurants gather in this area.

There are many old-fashioned buildings such as the brick-built “Osaka Municipal Central Public Hall” and “Japan Bank Osaka Branch”.

Fashionable cafes with terraces are lined up along the river, and, at night, the illuminated river makes this area perfect for dates and walks.

In the rose garden of Nakanoshima Park, about 310 kinds of roses, about 3,700 stocks, are in full bloom around mid-May and mid-October.
