“Kaga Onsenkyo” in Ishikawa Prefecture is a hot spring resort located in the southern Kaga area, about 40 kilometers south of Kanazawa. It consists of four nearby hot spring areas; Awazu Onsen, Katayamazuma Onsen, Yamashiro Onsen, and Yamanaka Onsen. You can enjoy different water qualities and atmospheres.

“Awazu Onsen” is famous as the best old hot spring in Hokuriku, and your body won’t get cooled down for a while.

“Katayamazuma Onsen” is a mineral-rich hot spring on the banks of Shibayamagata and has a wonderful view.

“Yamashiro Onsen” has multiple hot spring qualities and is perfect for hot spring hopping.

“Yamanaka Onsen” is selected as one of the three major hot springs in Japan by the famous Japanese Haiku writer Basho Matsuo.
