Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Asama Shrine

“Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Asama Shrine” at the foot of Mt. Fuji is one of the constituent assets of Mt. Fuji, a world cultural heritage, and is also known as the place in which the power of Yamato Takeru Nomikoto dwells.

Its Otorii (gate) is the largest wooden torii in Japan and is breathtaking.

Don’t miss the magnificent landscape that features cypress forests and stone lanterns that are over hundreds of years old, and the prefecture-designated natural monument “Taro Osugi”.

Konohanasakuya Himenomikoto is enshrined and is also popular as a power spot for marriage.
