Naminouegu
Naminoue Gu is one of Okinawa’s most prestigious shrines and is also popular with locals.
from Kokusai-dori, it is only about 5 minutes by taxi.
Located on a hill overlooking Naha Port, it is known by locals as “Nanmin-san” and “Nanmin”, and is said to give you benefits such as warding off evil, safe delivery, family safety, and prosperous business.
Naminoue Beach spreads behind this shrine and this beach is the closest one to the city center so it’s recommended to stop by after worshiping.
