This hot spring was opened in 1923 by drawing water from Dai Onsen. The hot spring town has a row of cherry blossom trees, a red pine forest, and a rose garden with a sundial flowerbed designed by Kenji Miyazawa. Each hot spring inn has a large public bath with a rock open-air bath, a cypress open-air bath, a rose bath, etc., and you can enjoy a ladder bath. The spring quality is gentle and known for its skin-beautifying effects.
