Yamato Museum

At “Yamato Museum”, you can learn the history of Kure, Japan’s number one naval arsenal town during world war Ⅱ, where the battleship “Yamato” was built.

Inside the 4-story building, you can witness the misery of the war, including the 1 / 10th size battleship “Yamato”, which is a symbol of the museum. Zeroshiki shipboard fighter-type 62, and the human torpedo “Kaiten” are on display.

On the 3rd floor, you can learn how the ship works and how to make it through the experience program. It is absolutely recommended for families with children.
